Hi everyone, I had my first class in this new semester, and I felt comfortable with the group because it was one of the groups I had last semester. This is the first time I followed a lesson plan in a class because I didn´s use any lesson plan in the last semester for any reason I never was given a lesson plan but I had to plan my own class. I started with the warm up activity by asking them to form three groups of 5. I gave a page to each group and a marker , the first group had to write a question in any tense, and the other group had to write the answer for that question. They did a good job and the other group did the same. I could have continued with the activity, but I saw students were not too interested or excited. My tutor told me that I should have continue with the acitivity even though it was time because it is suppose that the warm up activity doesn´t have to last more that 10 min. After that, I thought the students had a reading , but it was not like that, so I addapted the activity differently. I didn´t feel worried because I came up with something quickly, and the teacher told me that it was not noticed by students, but he did noticed because he had written the lesson plan I was using. Most of the activities were changed because of the material I thought student already had. However, it was not a problem. I think students were interesting in the activities and participated in a good way.

I like your first activity since it is a good way in which they can work together and they can practice what they know. Sometimes we have to change our plans because of some unexpected situations, but if we are well prepared, things go OK.
